From Smoke Shack To Local Favorite

In 2019, 225 BBQ opened in Thayne, Wyoming as a small 20-seat barbecue shack where everything was cooked in the smoker.

In 2023, we opened our new Afton location and built the restaurant from the ground up. By 2024, all operations moved to Afton, allowing us to expand beyond barbecue and create a full dining experience.

Today you’ll find slow-smoked BBQ, steaks, seafood, burgers, sandwiches, fresh salads, craft cocktails, regional whiskey, local brews and more—all served with the same commitment to quality and hospitality that started it all.
